If your computer is based on an ASUS motherboard, the best way to keep BIOS software up to date is using the official application by ASUS: ASUS update Utility.
The user can do different actions having to do with the motherboard and BIOS software: create a backup, change settings or update it.
The interface of the application features different tabs to access different options: Update BIOS via Internet, Download BIOS software or Check BIOS information.
Remember you'll have to indicate the firmware version in order to update or download the BIOS software.
